Just wondered if anyone else was the same or had advice. I was previously 8 stone before I fell pregnant and I understand it’s normal to not go back to that, this is my 2nd dc, I’m now weighing 10 stone which is what I was about 6 months into the pregnancy. I still have a bump that resembles what I had when I was 4 months pregnant and I just wondered if this is just the norm, feeling my stomach there seems to be a gap between the muscles and I wondered if this was part of the reason. I know 10 stone isn’t that bad, don’t get me wrong it’s just affecting my confidence as it’s not my normal and it’s something I’ll just need to accept but it honestly looks like a bump and loose skin and 2 stone is quite a bit over what I was even though I probably eat better/less now than I did and go walks etc

It takes time my LO is 18 months and I'm only just starting to loose abit of weight slowly and naturally it just wasn't shifting before now! I would say everyone is different but give it time it takes a while for your body to recover and it's hard work to loose baby weight. I know how you feel I was 9 and a half stone pre pregnancy and managed to gain 2 stone, never been this size in my life and it really gets me down but I have hope that I will get back to the old me. Are you breastfeeding? The GP told me my weight likely won’t come off until I stop breastfeeding.
