Hubby annoyed at me

Not sure this is the right place to post but lastnite my 11 week old son had a bath and we took
Him out he was screaming like mad and wouldn’t settle, not sure if it was due to him wanting to stay in the bath or the fact he was over tired but his crying was distressing me and then hubby said il settle him then 5 mins later he was still screaming so I said to hubby to
Pick him up and hold him and with that hubby told me to go away and he would calm him and shut to door on me, I went back 5 mins later and said did u want to me try and calm him and he stormed off in a strop, as soon as I picked baby up and rocked him he stopped and fell asleep and instantly calmed. I said to hubby for me to try as I’m with him all day and he mite want mummy, I think hubby got naffed off like I was saying he couldn’t calm him which I did I was just asking to help calm him. He’s not spoken to me this morning when he left for work, is he being childish? Or is it me? Not sure if I should txt him or not this morning.

A new baby is a bit like a bomb going off, especially as they don't come with a manual and I think its quite common to bicker.

If you usually text him then text him. But if he's prone to sulking then let him get on with it.

I'd do a jokey comment about you all being novices and it'll get better.

What's he like in general temperament wise?

He’s usually really good and we do t hardly ever argue, I wasn’t saying he wasn’t a good dad or anything I was just trying to help but he’s acting like I’ve said he’s rubbish or something :(

Like I said it's normal to bicker occasionally, especially when there's a baby screaming in the background.

Sit him down tonight, tell him that you're both still learning how to do this and just put it behind you both.
