Mastitis again. Want to give up.

I'm coming down with my 3rd bout of mastitis. My baby is 16 weeks. He is my 3rd DS and I didn't get mastitis with the other two.

It's not been in the same breast or location.

I feel like giving up. Why does it keep coming back?

So sorry to hear that you are suffering OP. Have you been given a long enough course of antibiotics?

Both times it's been seven days but the infection is never in the same place.

According to Kellymom you may need 10 to 14 days and not Penicillin Smile

It also says that common issues could be baby having tongue tie or you having anaemia, have you both been checked?
