SPD worse 7 days after birth

My hips feel awful. It's been almost unbearable to get walking or up and down. Could this still be the SPD that I had through out pregnancy? Any advice on what I should do to control it/fix it?

Please please do the exercises the drs give you for it and seek physio asap. I didn't 😢 and I'm still in pain 3 years after my last. Good luck 🌹

I got terrible back ache after giving birth. I hardly had any during pregnancy but i figured it was my posture adjusting to change in weight and no longer carrying a baby. I was right, it eased off after a week ot two.

I did have spd however and although this eased off after i gave birth, now and again i get the pains in certain positions when im reclined. This was worse the first few weeks after birth and gradually eased. Hopefully this is the case for you.

I rarely feel the pain now 3m pp.

@laura1306
How are you feeling now?
I gave birth 5 days ago and my pubic bone is on fire! It wasn't even this bad in pregnancy
I had spd but it was all round the back which has eased a lot but the pain in my pubic bone is scaring me!!!
