Prolapse - is my life as an active person over? :(

I gave birth to twins vaginally and very quickly almost 4 weeks ago. During the pregnancy I'd put on only about 22 lbs which I don't think is that much for twins - it was def all bump. I had kept active and done pelvic floor exs. I thought I was okay....

But over the last week I have a feeling of 'something there' in my vagina and when I checked, the cervix is palpable only a couple of inches in. That's not right, is it Sad Fairly sure I have a uterine prolapse.

Should I wait till 8 week check? Or see a GP sooner?

And is it the end of being active? I love running and cannot imagine never running or doing an aerobics class again.

Feel really down about this and like I've aged about 50 years. Any advice or reassurance at all?

I'd see gp sooner, hopefully they should be able to repair it but I believe physio can help with prolapses quite a bit.
