Steroid injections for fractured coccyx?

Has anyone had experience of a steroid injection for fractured coccyx? Just wondering what recovery times are and if it helped make exercise less painful. also if I can breastfeed after local anaesthetic?

Mine got damaged during labour and I’m desperate to get back to running for mental and physical health

Mine was damaged during labour two and a half years ago and I still can’t sit on wooden/plastic chairs for a long time and spinning is agony. I haven’t had steroid injections though so I’m interested to hear people’s experiences. Re anaesthetic,I had to have an operation under general six weeks pp and was told that it was fine to continue to breastfeed. They were flummoxed when I asked but concluded that emcs mum’s do so it must be fine.

Argh @Hillbillyhotel that's not good! I can't even imagine sitting on a bike but used to love spinning :( can you manage a class?
