Periods and discharge after birth??

Hello there, I had my baby boy on 24th of April. Stopped bleeding around 2 weeks after giving birth. Had my first period on 10-14th June. Yesterday evening i had some brown discharge. Now i went to the toilet and when I wiped myself I had some bright red blood on the tissue? What's going on?

It could be another period, what were your cycles like before having your baby?

Periods can be very irregular and different to your periods prior to pregnancy (e.g heavier/longer/shorter etc). Are you still breastfeeding? If so that would add extra reason for them to be irregular!
