Where's my period ??

Nearly 5 months on post birth never breastfed and still no period? This can't be normal.. Mentioned it to practice nurse today (appointment for something else) and she just shrugged!

It can be normal and it's just taking your body some time to readjust after having your baby. That is what my Dr said to me when my period disappeared for four months after my second birth. I didn't breastfeed then either but I already had an appointment with the gp for something else as well so I asked. She said it sometimes takes up to a year for the hormones to settle.

Iirc I didn't have a period until about 8 months afterwards.
