Hello everybody
Having quiet day at home as elder daughter is off school feeling ill.
Isla is fine and enjoying swimming and dancing. At school nursery i day per week which she's finding a bit hard ( despite the fact she's been at private nursery since she was 8 months old) It is much busier and she doesn't really know anybody yet. It'll get better in time I'm sure.
Congratulations asuwere on your new arrival!

Anyone's LO starting school in Sept?

Lucky2010 · 05/05/2010 19:40

DD1 has been at nursery, every afternoon, since Nov 2009. She thankfully got her place at the school, to start full time in Sept 2010.

My DD2 turned 2 last week....life is sooooo much easier these days now they are older, I am loving it.

DD1 is a joy (they both are). I am so proud of them both.

Forgive me for asking mrs but what was your previous nickname?

I was Cinder, then Fairy Smile for a while.

DS, now 4 of course, has been at nursery for a year, and starts mornings only in Sept at the school we chose. DD, now nearly 9 months, is sitting up and no doubt will soon be moving around! My LOs get on so well. She laughs at him so much and he dotes on her.

I don't spend as much time on MN as I did when I first had DS!

asuwere · 20/05/2010 16:23

I'm here!! I do occasionally pop on to MN but keep forgetting to check my watched threads.

Can't believe your DD is starting school Lucky!! Seems so young. DS1 has another year at nursery then he will start school next year (Sept 2011). It might be different in other aress but here the cutoff is 1st March - as in if they are 4 by 1st March, they can start school that year.

It actually works out well with us, when DS1 starts school, DS3 will start nursery then when he starts school, DD will start nursery! Means they will never be at nursery together which is quite good!

mrs nice to hear that your two are getting along. DS1 absolutely loves DD too - he went to stay at my parents for a night last week and he missed her! Didn't miss us but missed his baby sister! So cute!
