me just over 2 weeks post op, seem to be healing fine apart from stubborn uterus that won't go down. any advice about how to sweep a 4 year old into the hugs that he desperately needs when i cannot pick him up very much welcome

I feel for you - that was me 8 weeks ago!

Maybe you could sit on the sofa and ask him to climb up? That is what I did with my 2.5 year old.

Things get much easier very quickly - I think the first 2 weeks are the hardest tbh.

I am now back at the gym, pretty much doing what I used to do..so it does heal quickly.
