welcome eastyorksmum!

Hiya Biglips - how did Tweenie get on at school? Moley started last week. Although he's one of the oldest, his birthday is 1st Oct (is that the same day as Tweenie?) he's one of the smallest and he just looks so odd in his school uniform! He loves school though!

yes tweenie settling in great even though she says she misses me and dd2 ....BUT today a song came on in the car and i suddenly started to pine for tweenie... she only been in school for 9 days!!! she is the tallest as always! dd2 does look out for her too at times. Its her 1st Bday on 21st sept so i will be arranging a small family bday party at home...cant wait! and tweenie is helping me to choose the cake!

ive got a question to ask here and it had been asked on the active convo but with a younger age (3).....Do u let your dd/ds downstairs by themselves to turn the telly on whilst you wud be in bed??? i havent really thought of that and it would be a no as tweenie is too curious into everything ..Tweenie just plays in her bedroom.

Hi Biglips. I wouldnt let them simply because when we lived in a flat when there was dh, me and dd1 she got out of bed one morning and went into the living room when she was about 3. I woke up and when I got up I could smell a funny fresh paint type smell. When I went into the living room she'd painted everything including 3 day old tv, 3 piece suite, carpet etc with nail varnish. She'd found a set I'd been given for christmas and dived in. How we laughed. Not. Although now that she's nearly 17 we do like to mention it now and again! Glad Tweenie's settled into school well. Moley is still loving it but finding it quite tiring! I cant believe your dd2 is nearly 1! Mind you I cant believe my dd1 is nearly 17 - I think somewhere in my head thats the age I still think I should be! When she got her GCSE results the other week it really did only feel like it was a few years ago that I got mine.

Gosh haven't been on here for a while. Geog has started school and seems to be loving it, although he has already had a day off sick As he has a brother and sister there he knows how it works and it really seems to help as one of his friends is upset and the other went to a different school so I was worried he would be upset too.
