OK, so we can all easily refer to what we need to know as and when we need it, I've started a separate thread.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Foxy's Answers

  1. Are there any colours you absolutely love which would be good to include in a project? Love green, teal and scarlet. And a bit of leopard print

  2. Are there any colours you cannot stand or which will clash with any of your decorating schemes ie no purple for bathroom-destined gifts Not fond of purple or yellow.

3)Are there any smells or flavours you love. I just love nice things.

  1. ok - a bit predictable but are there any smells or flavours you cannot abide/make you puke etc Not really. Raw chicken makes me heave. But I don't suppose Santa has that in his workshop.

  2. are there any habits or hobbies we should bear in mind? I wish I had hobbies. I wish I had a few more (bad) habits, actually. Cooking is probably my thing right now.

  3. are there any habits or hobbies you never indulge in - ie cooking, drinking, DIY etc.
    Dogging

  4. are there any logos or characters you love or loathe? Don't do logos or characters at all.

  5. do fragile objects have a safe haven?
or will they get smashed to pieces within 5 minutes? They have a safe place. Trouble is, no one has told DS2s football.

  6. do you have any phobias that might be relevant ie buttons etc No. Hard as nails me.

My answers to the other questions:

do you like letter-writing? No

do you wear hats? No
gloves? No
scarves? No
slippers? No

what dimensions are you?
ie s/m/l large
shoe size 9
glove size no idea
etc etc

is there anything you need? not really

I don't mind if it's sonething to use every day or something pretty.

I haven't started yet but know what I'm making

educatingRia · 22/11/2008 22:15

do you wear jewellery?

earrings - pierced or clip?
necklaces/bracelets?
brooches.
pretty scarves (rather than warm ones)

My answers are -
I love earrings.
I can take or leave necklaces and brooches. Hardly ever wear bracelets.
I do like toe rings and anklets - is that weird?

Do not be afraid. I am thinking of a couple of xmas craft fairs coming up (with proper handcrafted stuff), I am not going to make the above myself!!!

do you wear jewellery?

earrings - pierced or clip? - pierced, nothing chunky, kids again!
necklaces/bracelets? - no because i dont take my cross off, but i would wear a braclet
brooches. - ALWAYS loose them
pretty scarves (rather than warm ones) - no kids always wreck them

just a quick question, does presents have to be hand craafted?

educatingRia · 23/11/2008 10:32

no natty.

we have the choice of making our own gifts, or a budget of £5.

I was going to make something for my giftee, but am thinking I won't get it done. I went to a lovely craft fair last week. Always makes

NattyTantrumAndEarAche · 23/11/2008 10:45

educatingRia · 23/11/2008 21:49

Ant?

or Dec???

NattyTantrumAndEarAche · 23/11/2008 22:14

lmao ria!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/11/2008 11:57

Only just noticed the extra questions

I wear earrings, but rarely change from the nice little studs DH bought me a few years ago. I wear necklaces and bracelets. I don't wear brooches, but think I might like to. I tend to wear scarves for warmth rather than decoration, though I like my warm scarves to be pretty too. But I have loads of scarves, in fact just had to donate some to charity as had too many.

I never watched Byker Grove really. But I used to love SMTV:live. It is just a shame all the TV they do is so dire, because I think they're funny. I liked that remake of the Likely Lads they did.
