ME!!! I can't believe dd is nearly not a baby anymore! We have attempts at sentences, stroppiness and running at top speed ;)

Kaybeeand2boys · 09/09/2008 21:06

I know isn't it amazing! We are getting very stroppy and have started screaming when we do't get our way

OP posts:
pamplemousse · 10/09/2008 09:48

Ah yes the stroppiness has kicked in recently. Is there nobody else with nearly 2 year olds?!

Kaybeeand2boys · 12/09/2008 20:07

I don't know, hellooooooooooo where has everyone gone???

Hello, I used to be Podglet

Thanks to nursery, we have been stropping for a while now DS also has a few 2 word sentances and is generally a cheeky little monster!

We only have just under 6 weeks til his 2nd birthday no idea what we are going to do, but I think it won't be huge, he still doesn't really "get" birthdays etc.

He also has a sister now - DD born 15th April 08

Where is everybody else????

mygirllollipop · 22/09/2008 13:33

Oh yes DD4 has been having tantrums for yonks perfected through having DD3 only 19 months ahead of her. She has also been talking in sentences for yonks too again thanks to having 3 older sisters. I am surprised as she talks in full sentences.
We're too busy with other birthdays inbetween (DHs, BILs, two nieces and SIL) to think of hers bless her.
Everyone will have to update their profile pics!
Did u link this thread to the last one KB? for those who watch it? Might get more people over here.

Nappyzoneneedssleep · 25/09/2008 20:50

OOO my ds is 2 early nov - he too has been stropping infact tonight he had the mother of all tantrums for a mere 40mins - it coincided with me finally getting some photos printed from his birth which made me feel all gooey. I too think nrsery has deffo contributed to his strops - i mean its not like he gets them from me lol!

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 13/10/2008 21:03

Hello there - wandered by to see if anyone was around and found this new thread - nice to see a few familiar names here and congrats on new babies. DS has perfected the strop - he's not 2 'til December so goodness knows what'll happen next - luckily nursery are helping loads. Cautiously venturing into the realms of potty training - he'll sit on his potty - fully clothed - usually to watch 'In the Night Garden' how is everyone else doing?
He can speak a few sentences and likes to try to say big words lke 'helicopter'. (although it's more like 'copter - for anything that flies).

All the best
Lady Anne

hello all!

i was gonna start one of these!!

ds2 is a cheeky boy aswell!!!

he insists on calling me gaggy still (i get mom when he wants something - i have an american kid, lol) but is going great with his words!!! unfortunately his big bro can't help out with his talking, he's still struggling himself.. but he's given ds2 some of his quirky words... luckily we all know what were talking about, even if no-one else does!!!!

he's also a drama queen.. no temper tantrums (at least not like ds1 threw!!) he just dramatically drops to the floor with his hands over his eyes and refuses to move no crying or screaming.... it's quite funny most of the time! we also get lots of over dramatic sighs and that boy knows how to throw a dirty look!!!!

my news... we got married last month.... ds1&2 were the bestest cutest pageboys ever, i have some pictures on my profile from the day!!!!!!

mygirllollipop · 28/10/2008 09:28

Congrats Saralou!! I'm off to look at piccies...........

Kaybeeand2boys · 28/10/2008 21:40

Wow congrats Saralou, you look gorgeous and the boys look adorable as page boys

We are all ok. DS1 is chatting heaps, never stops actually. Is very clear now with his words and says 5 and 6 word sentences too [proud mummy emoticon]. DS2 is 6 months, can't believe how fast it goes the 2nd time round!

My news, we are moving to NZ in under 2 weeks.....

JentlyDoesIt · 31/10/2008 15:54

Wow, hi all!

Sara - my gosh you look AMAZING and the boys are so handsome (all 3 of them)

Kaybee - doesn't time fly - DD 6 1/2 months now and a monkey - far more outspoken and demanding than DS ever was - can't think where she gets it from . Exciting news about the move - you lucky thing. Enjoy.

Hope everyone is ok. DS is 2 tomorrow and is doing 3 word sentences with ease he LOVES his sister to bits, it's so cute watching them together - proud mummy

Hope everyone is ok, lets have a big 2 year round up...

saralou · 01/11/2008 17:33

jen, hope you've all had a nice day! goodluck girl, you've got a proper 2 year old now

kaybee, that sounds very exciting!!!

i can't believe your babies are 6 months old now!!!!! you both have some very cute pictures of very cute children on your profiles!!!

CurseOfTheMinnieMummy · 03/11/2008 13:05

Hello everyone, can I crash join? DS will be 2 on Nov 5 (he came into the world with a bang!) (arguably in more ways than one ) and although I've been lurking around on MN for a while, I never thought of checking to see if there was a Nov 06 group before!

We also have a DD who is just 3mths. DS loves her, gives her lots of kisses, but also quite likes to poke her in the eyes.

Tantrums seem to be increasing, I think possibly because he still doesn't have that many words (common for boys apparently?!)

the second one is definitely easier ( i remember your thread on things they don't tell you about newborns or something like that!! was very funny )

my very proud mummy moment was yesterday, when ryan threw one of his cars at the tv and has smashed it!!

1 year old, lcd tv waiting in for insurance assessors to tell me its unfixable at the moment

thanks charlee, good to hear jack is well!! lets hope he carries on that trend xx

Kaybeeand2boys · 04/12/2008 04:27

Hello everyone How lovely to see all the old faces

Most of your's will all be 2yo by now, hope all the birthday celebrations went well? DS2 is 2 on Sunday, can't believe how quickly the time has passed! Seems like just yesterday we were counting down the five golden rings

Well, DS3 is due here in the next month or so. DS2 is very cheeky, not so many words, but he has his own little way of getting things across, and so many little cheeky ways of doing things, he amazes me with something new every day. And DS1 is as easy going as ever, looking forward to having another baby brother to wind up look after....!

HarktheHarrogateMumissinging · 19/12/2008 13:08

I thought I would have a quick look on postnatal thread and here you all are! DD was 2 at the end of Nov and my DTs turned 4 the same month so much less time for MN'ing these days! DD is just a dream though, so funny and gorgeous. Her hair refuses to grow so people still think she is a boy but hey ho!

DH would like another but I'm 36 now and not sure I can go through it again.......

JentlyDoesIt · 23/12/2008 17:39

Hello all,

Happy Christmas to all!

NJ - good luck with DS3 - can't believe he is nearly due already! Other people's pg's go so much quicker than your own...

Kaybee - glad all going well in NZ

Charlee - hope Jack is still going well.

Hope you all have wonderful Christmas's
