What to buy for August baby?

First baby so I need everything! Baby due early August - what clothes should I buy more of? Long sleeve, short sleeve? I don’t want to waste money on things that won’t be used. Thanks!

I had my baby early August 2024… I got some summery bits for her, cute rompers etc, but honestly by the time I was up and about property it was September and it was cooling off so she didn’t wear them. She was usually in a short sleeved vest and a baby grow if we were out, or just a vest if we were at home and it was a nice day. It was never really hot enough to wear less and if it was I wouldn’t have taken my newborn outside in it.

get some 1tog sleep bags/swaddles and I loved the big muslin blankets to pop over their legs when out in the pram.

i had a fan which attached to the pram but I only used it a couple of times.

I had an august baby and bought short sleeved vests and sleepsuits. I used both as much as the ofher as it quickly turns into a chilly September.
