Mother & Toddler Group in Darton or Barnsley

I am looking for Mother & Toddler Group in the Darton area. I have a 10 month old baby, but problem is I work full time. I do not know any new mums in my area and feel as though we are missing out on the chance to make friends. My mum looks after my baby during the day so gets lots of love and attention but does not have any interaction with any other children. Are there any meetings at the weekend anywhere that anyone knows about?

Hi Mushyb. Can't answer your question exactly and I have no idea where Darton is (!) but there's a friendly bunch around on the "Wakey/Barnsley/Huddersfield Meet-up thread" if you want to chat.

The Meet Ups with children are usually mid-week but do come and say hello anyway! Somebody in the Barnsley area may be able to advise you on M&T Groups. Otherwise, what about Soft Play centres? They're open weekends (but watch out for private party bookings).

Hi MmeCellophane. Thanks for your message I know there is a good m&t group at Mapplewell but it is in the morning. Darton is near Barnsley. I'd be interested in having a chat on the "Wakey/Barnsley/Huddersfield Meet-up thread". Can you please let me know where you meet up? Thanks a lot

Hi. The meet-up thread is
here Come on over and say hello!

Mid-week daytime meet ups are usually at Leapfrogs (Skelmanthorpe, Hudds) or Jellybeans (Denby Dale) or Cheeky Monkeys (Wakefield I think)
