19 months post partum. No period and bottle fed!?

Hi

So I gave birth to my little boy 10 months ago and I've still not had any period. He is exclusively bottle fed and has been fed that way since 2 weeks old.

I'm not pregnant again and am at the docs and have had blood tests / abdominal scan. All came back as normal except a tiny amount of testosterone was too high but not enough to cause a problem they said.

I've now been referred back to gynaecology but they said it could be months before they contact me.

I'm just getting worried why I haven't had it yet as we want to try for our DC2 soon. Has anyone had this long? I know breast feeders have this, but just interested in bottle feeders.

Thank you, from one concerned mum! 😟 xx

I haven't experienced this but if its any reassurance my GP told me not to worry about until it hasn't come back for a year so hopefully yours will come in the next 2 months?

Sorry I'm assuming your post is right and your baby is 10 months? The title says 19 months?

Sorry it was a typo in the title, I did mean 10 months. But funnily enough my period came back about 3 weeks after I wrote this, so about 10.5 months post parrtum. Hoorah! :) xx
