Well I was going to start this thread saying that hopefully things have settled down for all of us, but I know they haven't for some.
We have all done really well to get this far and deserve a huge pat on the back for being such fantastic mums! (twin mums, have two pats on the back each)
I also wanted to say thank you for all the support, especially in the last week or so.
Well this is rapidly turning into an oscars acceptance speech so I'll stop there!

Night SPB. Hope you decide what to do about chicken pox.

Octo · 30/12/2007 22:27

calamine cream is better - less messy!

Octo · 30/12/2007 22:28

Night ladies xxx

ROFL at sisters cat!

AngeG · 30/12/2007 22:28

Night SOL.

Ah that makes more sense POTC

StealthPolarBear · 30/12/2007 22:29

Pillock it's funny you say that, I don't get those two confused but I do confuse the following (not really but slightly iykwim)

elkie with LuceWheel (because of elkie's first name)
maveta with weeonion (because they're both first time mums and m looks like w upside down )
mammyjo with muminamini (because they both have mum/mammy in their name)
Octo with SexOnLegs (I think it's the legs/tentacles thing)

Have thought about mentioning this before, but worried you'd all think I was strange. Oh well, now you know! And I don't mean I really confuse you, but say if I'm trying to remember who said something a while ago and it was Maveta, I might think it was weeonion because the two nicknames are linked in my mind.

Think I'd better go as well.

Dh can't understand how I can spend so much time talking on here (he's looking over my shoulder as I type, lol) He's said he would much prefer to talk over a pint.
Which I would love to do, but as I explained, its a bit hard when we're all over the place

StealthPolarBear · 30/12/2007 22:29

lololol

StealthPolarBear · 30/12/2007 22:30

Well quietly loling anyway, folding washing is never this amusing

OP posts:
Octo · 30/12/2007 22:30

Wine doesn't help either

AngeG · 30/12/2007 22:30

PMSL SPB

Glad you don't get confused about me

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 22:30

pmsl at SPB

although I do get Luce/Elkie muddled sometimes, I think of Luce by her rl name and can never remember what her mn name is!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 22:31

tell dh that if he's volunteering to look after all our children, we'll all come round for a pint

StealthPolarBear · 30/12/2007 22:32

I don't know her rl name (unless it's very strange and we do know it) so that doesn't help!

OP posts:
Octo · 30/12/2007 22:32

I can never remember baby names or rl names.

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 22:32

Think I've just embarassed dh in front of group of women he's never met

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 22:32

except SPB, she can't stretch the 'folding the washing' excuse as far as a trip to Wales

Octo · 30/12/2007 22:32

Esp when people refer to them as T or M.

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 22:33

Think he would, but only if you can provide a cast iron guarantee that they will sleep, so he doesn't actually have to do anything

StealthPolarBear · 30/12/2007 22:33

maybe I have some special welsh cloth that really needs some expert advice?
I should just tell him, shouldn't I? Or buy him an x box then he won't notice I'm gone?

OP posts:
PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 22:33

I'm special

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 22:34

no, but she could and fold mine for me.

StealthPolarBear · 30/12/2007 22:34

Sorry octo, I do that all the time. Especially with other people's babies as I'm never sure how comfortable people are with the full name on MN. And with my own cos I'm too lazy to keep typing it.
Don't think I would with Ange's I though, would get confusing

OP posts:
PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 22:35

I had that problem at the last SE meet up octo, I had to ask Bramshott what SOL's baby was called as all I could remember was she's K

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 22:35

yes SPB, you should just tell him

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 22:36

tell him he can have an x-box for free - 'cept you'll have to pick it up from Wales (dh never plays on his, don't think he would notice if it went missing)
