Well I was going to start this thread saying that hopefully things have settled down for all of us, but I know they haven't for some.
We have all done really well to get this far and deserve a huge pat on the back for being such fantastic mums! (twin mums, have two pats on the back each)
I also wanted to say thank you for all the support, especially in the last week or so.
Well this is rapidly turning into an oscars acceptance speech so I'll stop there!

Oh dear Dippy, is he ok?

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 30/12/2007 23:43

lol octo!! Could imagine my mums face if ds said that to her. She has already told me two is enough. Do have the ability to work that out for myself as two really is enough for me, but she keeps telling me how I need to be getting rid of all my baby stuff!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 23:43

anyone that wanders onto the thread tomorrow is gonna run away screaming

fpesha · 30/12/2007 23:43

How does it get so late so quickly???

And yeah come on dippy - talk to us [said in smiling, patronising pyschiatrist tone with looooong pauses for you to fill]

Octo · 30/12/2007 23:44

I had my one and only nose bleed when I was in labour with Ernie.

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 23:44

ok - as clear as mud

am going to bed

if I stay, please feel free to kick me into bed

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 30/12/2007 23:45

Excellent summation of the thread!!

CaptainDippy · 30/12/2007 23:45

He used to get them a lot as a child, but I think he just blew his nose too hard this time. "How long before I can lie down?" *!!%^&ing men!!

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 30/12/2007 23:45

so mammyjo - does your mum regard getting rid of baby stuff as a surefire contraceptive then? I think there's a very convincing body of evidence to say that's not the case!

AngeG · 30/12/2007 23:45

I had a nose bleed during the carols by candlelight service, Izzy scratched the inside of my nose!! It bleed for ages!

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 30/12/2007 23:45

I am off to bed, night all xxx

Ouch! Poor Ange

Dippy - tell him he can lie down now - if he's going to wash the sheets and scrub the mattress tomorrow.....

CaptainDippy · 30/12/2007 23:47

I reckon NL's gonna go for one more!

Night MJ

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 30/12/2007 23:47

NL, yes clearly she does!! I think that in her head, if I have no baby stuff left then there can be no more babies! It is obviously not possible to go back to mothercare and buy it all again! Not that I plan to mind you!

fpesha · 30/12/2007 23:47

Agree with NL, I gave away half my baby stuff when I moved house when Maia was 2, the next day I found out I was pg!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 23:47

it's getting very surreal now!

Octo · 30/12/2007 23:47

I'm off too nighty night xxxx

AngeG · 30/12/2007 23:47
