I literally can't stop crying after giving birth 8 days ago. It hit me today and I literally feel awful like I can't do it and want to run away. Is this normal? I'm guessing it's not baby blues as it's too late for it to be that. Please can anyone help

Hey!

Please speak to your midwife. I’m so sorry you feel like this but seek help now. They are so kind and always remember that you won’t be the first mum to speak up xx

The baby blues can hit you hard. However if you think it's not the baby blues then please contact your midwife.

Definitely normal. I was an emotional wreck for a couple weeks but it did get better. Like the others said, please speak to someone. Having plenty of support during those first few days/weeks is so important xxx

My baby blues lasted until 10/14 days but always worth speaking to your midwife or health visitor.
Big hugs - it’s tough these first few weeks

This is so common and you're not alone. I didn't address and should have and ended up with PND. Big hugs x
