I was very disappointed that this petition got over 200,000 signatures and was largely supported by a parliamentary committee but its findings were not adopted by the government. This new petition simply asks for the extra time off without pay, for those who can afford it. It would be of no cost to the taxpayer, little extra inconvenience to employers but mean so much to some families. Please sign if you support. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/306691
