Where can I find clubs to make friends?

Since being pregnant, my social life hasn't exactly been sparkling, I'm wondering what clubs I can go to in order to make friends or even clubs where I can have a hobby that isn't expensive.

There's an app called Peanut which mums in my antenatal group have used with success.
