Breastfeeding but feels like period keeps trying to start

I've been breastfeeding for two months and for just over a week Ive been getting period like cramps and started getting spots on my face. There is no sign of blood yet. Is this normal? Thanks 😊

A midwife told me that the nipple stimulation from Breastfeeding causes the uterus to contract to help it shrink back down into the pelvis after childbirth so that may explain the period cramps? And high prolactin hormone needed for breastfeeding is linked to acne. So all sounds normal
