Awful back pain 5 months after caesarean delivery

I had a slow recovery from my third caesarean because it was more complex - I needed additional work done whilst on the operating table and it took three times as long as a standard section. For this reason I needed additional spinal top-ups.

It may be relevant.

Once recovered however, I was perfectly fine. Until about 3 1/2 months in. Then I started to get an awful pain in my lower back at the spinal site. I am fine standing and sitting, but when I bend or lean it stabs, like that needle every time. It's making simple things like putting the washing out, bathing the children and general housework really difficult.

I'm due to return to work in a few months and it's an active job. That's a worry! Ibuprofen and Paracetamol don't seem to make a difference.

I am making a doctors appointment but it's not urgent so need to wait a number of weeks before I can be seen. So in the meantime I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same problem. I can't seem to find this particular issue anywhere when searching online.

I should add that there is no ache. It's a pain that goes quite quickly once I've stopped being in the position ie. bending.
