Ah yes.
None in our hospital.
It was great that she was put in bed with me,but was very worried about her falling especially as I was alone (dh abroad) and very woozy after Diamorphine.

None in our hospital (dd 8 weeks) was actually told by MW whilst in there not to hold her whilst sleeping as 'thats what the seperate cot was for'

saw someone with a cot that clipped to the bed (with a side panel missing? like you can get at home?) but wasnt brave enough to ask for one. nearly dropped her falling asleep the first night too

When I was 1st transferred to the ward aftre having dd I was in a bed with a cot on wheels. BUT the mw noticed that given my height (4ft 11in) I found it a struggle to get into bed esp aftre the birth let alone struggle to get dd out of her cot.
I was then given a cot that attached to the side of my bed. Much easier for feeds, cuddles and general access and made me feel closer to dd as well..
