I know its not realistic - ds is only 11 weeks and i'm breastfeeding - but good god i get depressed when i cant fit into any of my nice clothes

Every morning is a chore to find something to wear - i went to a charity shop today and bought a pair of jeans 2 sizes bigger than my pre-pregnancy size just so i've got something to wear NOW!! (actually they were Topshop ones and really nice and only £3!!!!

Please tell me to stop being so vain and get on with it!

But some nice clothes that fit you properly

You will feel worse in tight clothes

Don't worry - things will get better - it is GRADUAL but it does improve

It took me a year to get back to "normal" after my first baby so i know it aint all gonna happen immediately but it doesnt help when mums who have the same aged babies as my DS are at baby groups wearing next to nothing, tanned, lean and healthy looking and theres me in me baggy linen trousers and baggy t shirt looking like a frumpy frumpster from frumpsville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no advice, but feel the same way. I find my pre pregnancy skirts still fit me. Jeans, trousers etc no way (even the ones that were too big for me

mandymoo, i agree with cori, elasticated waist skirk still fits, no way am i getting into size 12 jeans.
ds2 is 8 weeks tomorrow i am trying to diet, just carnt belive how slow the weight is comming off and how hard it is to do. I am still wearing mat jeans as i refuse to buy new size 16 that i am hopeing i won't be wearing soon if i can stick at the diet.
