Hi folks, I completely lost the thread, couldn't see it for looking, as my Grandma used to say!
Tink, I have just got your pm as well, I never look up when I'm on MN, as I never expect to have any messages really.
Life's been a bit full on with ds1's proposed statement, ds2 has just been diagnosed with hypermobility, with a query as to whether or not he might have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and that's thrown my working MS diagnosis into question, as I have more red flags for EDS than him and apparently the type of brain lesions I have could be attributed to EDS as well. All a bit scary if it does turn out to be EDS, but we'll cross that bridge if/when we come to it.
Ds has been referred to physio in the first instance, but had 18 xrays taken on his legs at his paed appointment and they've been sent off for the paediatric rhuematology team to assess.
Ds2 has also been having a few issues at school, so I've had to go in and see them. All relating to lack of confidence really, to the extent that he's never told them or us how much pain he is in constantly with his joints and muscles. I feel like a terrible Mum for not realising what was going on sooner, but we have come up with a care plan and support strategies in place for him, so hopefully things will start to improve for him now.
Had both boys' birthdays in the Easter break, so lots of friends round for tea and chaos!
We had a great time at Legoland and staying at the new Legoland hotel last weekend. It rained heavily for practically the whole weekend, but it didn't spoil our fun. We were all cocooned in raincoats and rain ponchos and the boys took delight in doing lots of the water rides. Actually, being wet it meant the queues were a lot shorter than usual, so we actually got to do more than we did last year.
We're off on our annual music festival jaunt with dd again in a couple of weeks. The weather isn't looking too promising for that either, so have invested in some second hand salopettes off ebay to keep dd warm.
Hope things are coming along well with the house Tink. Did you enjoy seeing Steps?
Just realised you said you've got an iphone - you are far more technological than me then. I still have a very basic old fashioned nokia style handset, that doesn't even take a decent photo and can't accept or send photo pictures.
