What do you all think of this?

labour-uncut.co.uk/2010/07/01/we-need-a-bang-em-up-motion-on-prisons-next-week/

Disgraceful, though perhaps not surprising given the chequered history of Sion Simon.

If Labour genuinely believe in the "bang-em-up" approach, then fine - but to go out of their way to paint the Tories as soft on crime in this way?

This sentence alone summarises everything that was wrong about the Brownites:

"We must not waste this opportunity by allowing policy to get in the way of politics."

Disgusting.

And yes, I am sure there are many hyperpartisans within the Tories too. They are equally vile.

oh. I thought the title was the Brownies. I was expecting a another conspiracy about Baden Powell.

This HAS to be tongue-in-cheek/sarcastic...

"But a tough one that could have been written by Michael Howard. Or Jack Straw."

it's got to be a piss-take?

I thought it was the Brownies too. Reminded me of the Jon CUlshaw lookylikey piss-take of 'Ross Kemp on Gangs'

Sion Simon is from the same person responsible for this

www.newstatesman.com/blogs/conference/2007/09/labour-majority-increase

and this

www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcS7i4wn01o

and who orchestrated this

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/5314632.stm

He is the very worst type of politician.
