'Turkeys don't vote for Christmas' is the one that's making me want to scratch my fingernails down the blackboard for a little light relief.

"Everything to play for" wore a bit thin in this household, with its annoying penumbra of the incursion of football-speak into every area of daily life.

MintHumbug I see your "positive and constructive" and raise you a "constructive and respectful" which I suspect means they didn't use any of the following: Beardies, socks-and-sandals-brigade, Autists in Europe, nutters, homophobics.
