I'm going for Channel 4's alternative election night with Charlie Brooker et al personally... how about you?

Charlie gets my vote.

PuppyMonkey · 06/05/2010 11:36

I probably don't mean Sky 1 do I? Do I mean Skey News?

Dh is determined that it will be the BBC. I do not have strong feelings either way, but I would quite like to flick and see what Charlie is up to. Most likely I will fall asleep anyway!

Poledra · 06/05/2010 11:45

We're fickle - will flick between C4 and BBC (and I'll try to get a quick nose on ITV to see oor Justine in 'er new frock).

claig · 06/05/2010 13:16

BBC, experience and quality

WillowM2B · 06/05/2010 13:45

C4 starts at 2100 so will start off with that then probably move to ITV - I liked their debate coverage more than the BBC's but will probably end up flicking to and fro just to annoy DH

AvaGoOnTheSwingometer · 06/05/2010 14:22

Going to flick between Ch4 and BBC (ie the bits where Jimmy Carr comes on )

Cartoose · 06/05/2010 14:37

BBC for me

PuppyMonkey · 06/05/2010 14:58

Know what you mean about Jimmy Carr avoidance Ava.

ShadeofViolet · 06/05/2010 15:09

Channel 4 and Sky news for me.

Heathcliffscathy · 06/05/2010 15:14

channel 4 and bbc.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 06/05/2010 15:19

I'm a traditional BBC girl myself

donnie · 06/05/2010 15:21

we don't do sky in this house! Am leaning towards C4 as I luuurve Charlie Brooker. Will the BBC have Jon Sopel? he has been really annoying me all week on news 24.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 06/05/2010 16:10

Chaaaarrrrrrrliiiee

fartblossom · 06/05/2010 19:17

C4, but it will prob be on in our bedroom and I will no doubt fall asleep and wake up to the news. DH will most likely see more of it than me. Although I can just see it now, we will both be awake all night watching it.

For some reason (I know its completely different on sooo many levels) we stayed up all night and watched the oscars the other month even though we only planned on watching the red carpet bit. So who knows tonight.

TBH normally I find politics quite boring, but after looking into it for this election Im actually quite interested in watching it all unfold.

ouryve · 06/05/2010 19:51

Like others, probably mostly C4, but BBC when we're getting bored with it/once results start to come in. I like their silly graphics (like the parliamentary seats one where there seem to be lots of MPs end up with no party)

IagreewithNick · 06/05/2010 19:52

BBC because anything else would feel wrong, but Charlie Brooker is very tempting.

ASecretLemonadeDrinkerDAVE · 06/05/2010 19:53

I wonder if Jimmy Carr still has that bizarre laugh...

Channel 4 with a bit of BBC here and there

Squitten · 06/05/2010 19:59

Totally Channel 4 - been looking forward to this all week and have a nice curry lined up to accompany it We love Jimmy Carr, DH is a massive Charlie Brooker fan and I'm a little bit in love with David Mitchell.

Will naturally be flicking to BBC from time to time to see what's actually happening...

VoteOliviaMumsnet · 06/05/2010 20:01

At WillowM2B - see how Justine gets on

hannahsaunt · 06/05/2010 22:49
