How many "new items" are by staff?

I came across a thread (via boardwatch.com ) that was about the "Lib Dems want 16yos in porn" which had a link to a story in The Sun quoting a few posts from a thread here.

Of course they have only the "outraged of near Bath" type comment, not the wider context, and certainly not a balanced (well, there's a big surprise) view on it.

This is old news (dates back over 4 years) about a Lib Dem comment on under 18s being allowed to view and {if allowed to view} make porn films, seeing as the age of consent is out of step with the age where one is allowed to watch "18" or "18R" rated content.

I wonder why someone dragged up this old bit of policy on MN, and whether it was a member of staff who posted. Seems a bit of 'tail wagging dog' going on, perhaps.

rumour has it that it was a Sun journalist who started the thread (put up to it by Tory staff, though, no doubt).
