It has the charismatic, acerbic and oh so gorgeous Charlie Brooker (and David Mitchell and Jimmy Carr)

Sorry this might have been done but i will be watching this as an alternative to the boring and repetitive 'mainstream' results (plus i get to gaze lovingly at CB).

i have been wondering what happens in the alternative election night coverage on C4. Any ideas?

Igglybuff · 03/05/2010 19:11

I am! Although I'd like to know why the tv ads omit the fact that lauren laverne is also presenting????!!!

policywonk · 03/05/2010 19:15

Hell yes! CB and DM in one place too good to miss.

thighsmadeofcheddar · 03/05/2010 19:15

Absolutely. Love Charlie and David Mitchell.

Wineonafridaynight i think that its just a bit of takingthepiss topical discussion with live results as they come in.

I am wondering if I can watch a whole night of Jimmy Carr, but otherwise it was a no brainer.

gingercat12 · 04/05/2010 09:00

choosyfloosy · 04/05/2010 09:02

Suspect there's going to be a significant C4/Depressed Lefties crossover.

HousewifeOfOrangeCounty · 04/05/2010 18:43

Oh yes, in fact I can't believe there hasn't been an alternative election night before.

There was a leaflet in the guardian on Saturday about it that says there will be;

interaction with the audience, taking calls and delievering their own inimitable take on the election and woven in with the live studio action are specials of;

come dine with MP: - Edwina Currie, Brian Paddick, Derek Hatton & Rod Liddle

You have been watching election special - Charlie Brooker and his panel of comedians give their own biting take on an array of electoral televison

Fonejacker - prank calls

LostArtOfKeepingASecret · 04/05/2010 18:47

I'll be watching, but I think I might give come dine with MP and fonejacker a miss.

elliemental · 04/05/2010 18:48

we're looking forward to it

rosieposey · 04/05/2010 19:29

I might have to give come dine with MP a mis purely because Ron Liddle makes me squirm (and not in a good way).
