I know enough about the upcoming election and the policies of the various parties to decide who I am going to vote for (although I did take a "who should I vote for?" quiz last night to make sure) but really Im a bit dim on the whole politics issue.

I know that david cameron has a hair helmet, is very posh, seems very nice and has a touch of the blair's about him.

I know that nick clegg is more popular now than he was before the whole westminster's got talent tv thingummy. he also seems very nice.

I know that gordon brown puts his foot in it a lot and is probably now regretting collecting on any deal real or fictitous, but seems a tad misunderstood.

but everyone on here seems to be so much better informed than me. Im too scared to join any election threads because I know jack about it and will probably make a brown-esque gaffe!

Hey if you make a gaffe just apologies, it seems to work for the polititians .

Everyone has the right to an opinion, even if everyone else thinks the opinion is wrong. ( If you like one of the three main parties then you have a one in three chance someone will agree with you ).

Just try the "please don't scream at me because I know I maybe wrong.." or the " maybe someone better informed can correct me but..." approach and you've covered your butt before you've started .

Go on, give it a go, nobody knows everything ( well okay there are a couple I could mention but I wouldn't want them to get big headed) and I frequently get shouted at (but that's because i'm a conservative ).

QUEENOFTHESLATTERNS I think you made a mistake, most of the others on this site know jack about politics also. A post about UKIP had over 1000 threads, most of the posters knew nothing about the EU or anything else. it still didn't stop them from posting nonsense! So keeep on board!
