The ideas on second homes for MPs in particular make a lot of sense.

thanks for bringing this to our attention. I had forgotten about the Monster Raving Loony Party. Their manifesto certainly ticks a lot of my boxes. Looking at what the opposition has got to offer, I think they're in with a fighting chance. It would be good to see some Raving Loony MPs take up their seats in the Commons. They'll have no trouble fitting in with the rest of the loonies already there.

Our local candidate on the list is truly hilarious - my dh drinks with him in the pub and bizarely he is most sensible with a slightly wacky soh.

Its good to have some light relief in this campaign - feels like its gone on forever. Shame we don't do elections like we used to. Anyone remember some of the parties from the 80's?. Lord Buckethead used to stand against Margaret Thacher in Finchley. He always used to stand next to her at the count in Finchley Town Hall with a 3 ft high bucket obscuring his head -it was hilarious. I think one of their campaign pledges was to repatriate the Normans. My particular favourite though was the "Lets have another Party" Party. I think they always lost their deposit

My father in law is a member and had one of his ideas adopted in their manifesto apparently. Not sure which one.
