lol, tell it like it really is!

But you're right; once the novelty of a new government wears off, the same issues will be there, not being dealt with adequately....and the sleaze will always rear it's ugly head; tis human nature to try and get something for nothing it would seem.

I started a thread a couple of weeks ago, saying that it doesn't matter whether we vote for sooty or sweep - the hand up the back will be the same.

The only thing that will really change things is revolution.

Other than that, big business, America, civil servants, etc etc..(aka the REAL government of the UK!) will continue to run things the same way no matter who is elected.

Noam Chomsky for PM

I'd considered starting a similar thread; come June there's going to be a lot of disappointed people who supported the winner, demanding that the sun shine, flowers grow and everything be better now. Goes double if Cameron wins; I think a lot of people are expecting everything to be like mid-eighties boom times instantly, which simply won't happen.

And JMTPW? You reminded me of this from Bill Hicks...

As one of my dearest friends so succinctly put it on FB: Warm shit or cold shit? You decide.

Doesn't matter who you vote for the government always gets in
