Lib Dem, followed by green, followed by Plaid Cymru.

GrendelsMum · 19/04/2010 22:04

Apparently I should vote Labour, followed by Green. That was after me saying I was open minded about pretty much everything.

taffetacat · 19/04/2010 22:29

Lib Dem then Labour. I am and always have been a staunch Labour supporter....or so I thought. Very interesting, especially as I live in a Con stronghold.....

ThatVikRinA22 · 19/04/2010 22:50

i got lib dem again! thats the third time now. then ukip then green.

chixinthestix · 19/04/2010 22:56

Hmmm, Green Party, shame there's no green candidate to vote for! Glad to see I'm only 17% tory

CwtchyMama · 20/04/2010 11:15

Cons followed by Lab.

CwtchyMama · 20/04/2010 11:15

Cons followed by Lab.

mussyhillmum · 20/04/2010 11:26

Despite having always voted Labour, my results were Lib dems by some margin, Cons & then labour in 3rd place.

Hobnobfanatic · 20/04/2010 11:45

Labour then Lib Dem

GhostInTheBackOfYourHead · 20/04/2010 11:51

Green Party:
80%

Liberal Democrats:
79%

Labour Party:
44%

Conservative Party:
20%

Shame there's no Green candidate in my constituency.

OtterInaSkoda · 20/04/2010 12:28

Bloody hell - I'm almost a Tory

Liberal Democrats: 68%
Labour Party: 65%
Conservative Party: 53%
Green Party: 52%

I didn't bother putting UKIP or the BNP in as I'd never vote for them, although having said that I'd never vote Conservative either (unless faced with Tory or BNP or UKIP I suppose).

WebDude · 20/04/2010 16:25

56% UKIP (!!!!!)
40% Lib Dem
39% Conservative
27% Labour
26% Green

That was quite a shock. Then I added the extra 5 questions and it went to:

59% Lib Dem
55% UKIP
46% Green
42% Labour
41% Conservative

I'm not quite so surprised at that, but it suggests I'm a long way away in view from the "majority" assuming those many folks heard on radio and seen on TV will still be voting for one or other of the "big two".

I do not think I'd ever have considered voting for UKIP so have probably not come across sufficient of their opinions which I agree with, to date.

bluebump · 20/04/2010 16:31

I got:

Lib Dem 57%
Green Party 42%
Labour 41%
Conservative 32%

alicatte · 20/04/2010 16:42

I got 50% Green, 47% LibDem, 41% Labour and 40% Conservative.

I'd never really thought of myself as Green before but I came out Green on the other poll linked in by Cadders too. I guess, sadly, Green probably wouldn't get very far in the polls.

epithet · 20/04/2010 16:50

Oh, how interesting. I'm Green by a whisker, over Lib Dem. Definitely not Tory. Have always voted Labour, but they come a fairly poor third in the list.

Will probably still vote Lab though because I live in such a perilous marginal.

Fel1x · 20/04/2010 16:52

I was wavering between labour and conservative in my head (have always been labour in the past) but this clearly puts conservative ahead for me, so may go with them after all!

babyicebean · 20/04/2010 16:54

UKIP then BNP then CONS

alicatte · 20/04/2010 16:56

Do you think maybe there is so little to choose between the parties now that it doesn't matter who you vote for?

policywonk · 20/04/2010 17:04

Green then LibDem on this one

Some of the results are weird though - it had me agreeing with UKIP that budget cuts shouldn't be spread equally across govt departments. UKIP thinks defence spending shouldn't be cut, I think international development spending shouldn't be cut - not really the same thing

alicatte · 20/04/2010 17:08

I didn't put UKIP or BNP on because I thought I wouldn't have anything in common with them. But it seems that even they might have similar election pledges to the other parties. I don't know - need to find out more about these Greens.

policywonk · 20/04/2010 17:13

I put UKIP on out of interest. Not BNP though

sallyJayGorce · 20/04/2010 17:15

Green 49%
Lib Dems 47%
Cons 24 %
Lab 14%

Hmm - If I include the BNP and UKIP then BNP comes top. I loathe them. How did that work? Not sure about this test.

ShinyAndNew · 20/04/2010 17:15

Green Party followed v closely by Lib Dems. I'm not sure we have a green party. They haven't shoved anything through my door yet. I'll be voting Lib Dem.

alicatte · 20/04/2010 17:23

I didn't mean to imply anything policywonk, Can I also say that I have been enjoying a lot of your posts on these threads.

I just wonder if I did it again would I come out as partly BNP or UKIP too. Green UKIP/BNP there's a weird idea or is it? I guess I am just politically ill-educated although I always vote out of principle.

policywonk · 20/04/2010 17:26

Thanks alicatte

I was surprised by some of the UKIP stuff - increasing the tax threshold to £11.5k (so quite similar to what the LibDems are proposing), reform to House of Lords and electoral system.
