what would happen if everyone voted to their principles

I did this yesterday

So far, if everyone voted according to what policies they agree with, instead of tactically, the Green Party would be winning the election!

Although, it does make the assumption that the policies actually mean something and will be kept to.

It came up with the Tories for me...funny that! I did go for the UKIP policies on education though.

LittleBunnyFooFoo · 26/03/2010 11:27

Tory here and UKIP for Education also.

Useful tool actually, going to go through it on all of the areas and see what it comes up with.

thighsmadeofcheddar · 26/03/2010 11:39

Labour for me (accurate). Very interesting. Although I was shockingly a Tory on my health care policy.

slug · 26/03/2010 11:53

Came up Green Party on everything.

purpleturtle · 26/03/2010 11:57

I managed to pick Green on all 4 areas. Which surprises me!

dreamylady · 01/04/2010 09:28

This site seems fantastic - this may sound cynical, but it isn't somehow connected to the Green Party is it? Love 'em as i do I'm not sure I'd want them running the country. But what do I know, I came up UKIP on welfare! No Tory votes at all though thankfully. Am a green/lib dem split with a dash of labour, which sounds about right really.

grumpypants · 01/04/2010 09:37

one of each! a truly confused voter 25% BNP (!); Conservative; Labour; Lib Dem

MrIC · 01/04/2010 11:29

it is good, though it made me realise that on many issues there isn't really a party whose policies match my views so had to go for a next-best-thing.... Green/Lib Dem with a splash of Labour

sweetjane1 · 01/04/2010 17:21

Lib Dem 50%
Labour 25%
Green 25%

Another way of passing time to avoid all the things I should be doing! Like campainging about some of those issues instead of doing daft quizzes.

AvadaKedavra · 01/04/2010 17:24

Totally Conservative. Which is good as that's what I will be voting [ducks]

Very good idea actually.

BelleDameSansMerci · 01/04/2010 17:43

Holy hell! UKIP??? UKIP??? I'm a fucking champagne socialist and all I got across six areas was UKIP and one Tory vote. I'm off to hurl myself off a bridge.

I'm appalled. And stunned. And I probably won't be voting UKIP.

grumpypants · 01/04/2010 19:08

actually, altho i really want to vote lib dem it has made me want to go and read the policies rather than the sound bites
