I can't open the links sorry. But on the subject of proxies, the UAE are supplying the RSF with arms, arms supplied to the UAE by the UK.

UK urged to end arms exports to UAE after genocide reports (parliamentnews.co.uk)

Is this connected to your links at all ?

I am not posting this for any political reason. Rather, it just shows how complex the interconnections are in geopolitics.

The arms industry is vile. Military spending has gone through the roof globally. Even Ford are considering pulling out of commercial car making and getting into military provision.
As a planet of supposedly intelligent species what are we doing. We could easily all live in peace but we seem determined to start wars and take things that don't belong to us.

Not really connected. Why can't you open links? Can't, or won't?

Exactly right, more's the pity.

As a species we are doing amazingly well at self-elimination. Maybe there is a universe out there with just self pro-creating women, having a lovely time...

Puts me in mind of the Tiptree short story, "Houston, Houston, Do You Read?"
