Your post has no relevance. Boris Johnson was a dreadful PM, his performance was sloppy, he failed to pay proper attention to detail, probably as a result of failing to attend briefings, was not respected and failed miserably as a result.

Personally I think it’s a good use of money, being able to have our PM out and about doing a public event alongside the general public, raising money, being a normal human. God forbid we end up like Trump and the USA.

You are being utterly ridiculous. PMs are public figures and are protected, not least because violence against politicians has resulted in several being murdered over the last few years.

Politicians are brave in taking on the job of MP and should have the full protection of the law to enable them to have a life outside of their office.

Never mind all that, I want to know how he got to run as number 10. Did someone else have it originally and they made them swap? Do they reserve lower numbers for famous runners? I might put an FOI in to the Cabinet Office.

Or you could ask the run organizers. Don't they allocate the numbers ? I suspect their official website will have the rules.
