Fair enough, that is probably cheaper in many European countries than the UK but places that used to be cheap are now not so cheap because of the number of tourists and people believing the grass is greener etc.

Agree. I can’t understand why people aren’t aware that there’s clearly a lot of dodgy donations to all parties. The main parties are just better at disguising them as they’ve had longer to practice. Clearly though there’s been a recent ramped up effort to dig dirt on Reform.

Not enough will. You’ll never get someone who has been a life long Labour supporter voting Tory, and vice versa. A floating voter might - someone who has in the past voted either/or, but there’s not enough of them who will make it count.

There was a time when I would never have even considered voting Tory. And I still wouldn't out of choice. But if a Tory looks like my best option for keeping Reform out, then I will hold my nose and vote for them as the lesser of two evils.

I know quite a few one-nation type Tories who are horrified by the prospect of Reform as well, and will vote in whatever way they have to in order to keep them out.

Like I said, whichever candidate would be most like to keep Reform out. (Except Restore or some other far right party.)

I don't mind the Libdems personally. I really don't like the Greens under Polanski, but I would hold my nose and vote for them if I had to. I'd even vote Tory to keep the far right out.

Reform are not far right though, and if they join forces with the Tories (stronger leader now more connection with the public) and Restore (more leaning towards actual far right and more palatable to certain voters who want hard line policies) tactical voting for some daft independent character dressed as a bin or a flower pot won"t stop them.

I'm a life long labour supporter, my grandma, mother, father were all labour party members. I consider myself dyed in the wool labour.

But if it comes to it I will 💯 vote Tory to keep out reform. I can't believe I'm alone in that.

You don't seem to have been exposed to any Reform MPs.

The point is that Farage taps a very deep vein in UK politics, the issues of Brexit and immigration are more important to many voters than old party loyalties and the notion that he is some sort of passing threat that can be neutralised just by voting for random independents is fantasy.

The top players that appear on television regularly are head and shoulders above anything on the Labour/Tory front bench, some random MP in a random market town somewhere doesn"t interest me much at this point, the people who voted for them can vote for someone else next time if they are not happy.

You can opt out it's totally democratic. Unions are the most democratic organisations in the country. When you join it gives you the option to use part of your subs for political donations.

Labour are the only party that represent working people, they are the party that gave you the rights you have today. The party that gave you access to healthcare, free milk in schools, school dinners, paid holidays, sick pay, state pension, maternity pay, right to challenge unfair dismissal.....

People need to read some history before they start demonising the labour party...

I believe this vote switched back to Labour to get rid of the Tories once Brexit was over the line and will go to Reform now to get rid of the clown show circus that Labour has become from a once great party.

The point is that the stuff Farage talks about means more to a lot of people than Red or Blue now.
