Reform would remove rights from EU citizens with settled status

"EU nationals based permanently in the UK have expressed alarm over a Reform UK plan to target their rights to accommodation and employment, saying the policy is a betrayal of promises made in the Brexit referendum 10 years ago.
Under updated migration policies, Nigel Farage’s party would evict all overseas nationals from social housing and make it notably more expensive for companies to employ them, with both policies also affecting EU nationals who have settled status.
Under the UK’s Brexit deal with the EU, people with such status have the permanent right to live and work in the UK, as well as to receive social security and pensions, as do family members.
Both the new policies would require a renegotiation of the Brexit deal, with the possibility that the EU would penalise UK nationals living in the bloc as a reciprocal policy, or impose trade barriers."

I was not expecting Farage to resign as MP to trigger a "popularity/ trust" contest, at the expense of the tax payer.
To silence the press and the investigations on his five million plus and now his shadow, Contrell. He is resigning and then putting his name down as a candidate for the very same byelection......
I though he was just resigning, finally! But nope. More drama to come.
It would really make my day if he loses.
We shall see.

I hope Farage ends his days in one of HMPs wearing an orange jumpsuit.

The amount of investigations are growing, day after day.

Laure Ferrari would hopefully be the first one to be bundled up and dropped at Dover port for the next ferry to France.

I can't see the EU wanting to re negotiate the Brexit deal with anything in favour for Britain.

Unfortunately, this sort of populist rabble rousing appears to some people. Many working class people are fearful for their jobs and assume that every foreigner her takes one from them, or competes for it.

They don't stop to think that getting rid of thousands of NHS professionals won't open jobs fitting windows, laying bricks, or repairing cars etc.

Some are simply racist, others just worry that they may be unemployed and unable to make ends meet. Farrage understands that very well, he's tapped into it well, from a number of angles.
