Nicola Sturgeon (though 'gone off' is mild to the point of dishonesty as a response to the total fury and despair she provokes in me now).

Never liked/respected any of them enough to go off them.

Mags1001 · 03/01/2026 14:46

I voted Labour.
Enough said.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 03/01/2026 14:47

So many over the decades. Feet of clay.

Mathsbabe · 03/01/2026 22:47

Jackie Smith. She took taxpayers money to pay to heat and light the house her children lived in knowing that some families were living in abject poverty. Unforgivable.

AyeKarumba · 03/01/2026 22:57

Zarah Sultana

Gingerkittykat · 04/01/2026 01:05

Nicola Sturgeon.

Yeah Jeremy Corbyn, actually the web chat he did on here - 2015 I think- suddenly put me off him completely.

MsAmerica · 10/01/2026 21:17

By "gone off," do you mean become disillusioned about? Sure. Kamala Harris, for instance.

Jeremy Corbyn

I've never liked Starmer and dislike him even more now......

Also Nicola Sturgeon. I used to admire her as a strong woman in politics and admired the way she handled herself during covid, but her insistence on giving away mine and my daughter's rights in favour of biological males has ensured I'll never vote SNP again (yes I know she's no longer the party leader but the rest aren't any better).
