Where’s this plethora of social housing that Keir Starmer spoke of yesterday? I’d love to know.

Did he actually say that?

Nobody with any sense believes this!

In south Oxfordshire where many new builds, Wallingford, Didcot are already designated, 40 families in one small village east of Oxford, places for pensioners,
like sheltered housing blocks and tiny hobbitesque bungalows are slow on the uptake but larger houses and flats snapped up - 3 years ago only one or two applicants for a good selection of property now double figure applicants for a dwindling number of properties, many of which do not make it to the weekly listings - we have a horse in this race, advised to be patient -
maintenance and refurbishment doesn’t happen, they knock places down and rebuild, displacing the occupants obviously - hidden lists and unfair gradings, too many chiefs and no accountbility

Starmer, the man behind the curtain

Did he actually say that?

Yes he did.
When a dumbfounded Meg Hillier asked him for examples, he said he would write to her with the details.
