@Kendodd Ive never voted Conservative but they are clearly disunited and several are positioning themselves to be a replacement leader. The basic dilemma is they are traditionally the party of low taxation but that’s now blown out of the water. They have Brexit but it’s harming business. They believe business and productivity leads to growth and more tax being paid. That leads to greater prosperity and better public services. However we don’t have that scenario and it’s not likely to happen soon. I agree that they had to tackle inflation but there’s so much wrong at the moment it feels like they are fiddling while Rome burns. The alternatives to Sunak are dire though.
