I’m not necessarily disagreeing with his sentiment, but what an incredible idiot for doing so. If she’s too stupid to lead the country goodness knows where that leaves him.

I agree he definitely said it. Why is he lying? Just admit it and come out and say he stands by it, that it wasn't sexist in the same way he would have called DC a stupid man. I think it's the 'woman' part that's getting to people. My DM doesn't understand the outrage and says it's not sexist because she is a woman, but it leaves a sour taste in my mouth and it does feel different to me. I couldn't really put my finger on why though.

Urgh. I’m all over FWR, believe me, but I couldn’t give a stuff that he called her a stupid woman, and he did call her a stupid woman. I do very much care that he is lying about it. Blatantly. In his denial he uses the phrase ‘stupid people’ and repeats the phrase ‘stupid woman’, it is crystal clear, by comparing his mouth shape, which one of those he said the first time round. Unless he’s going to suggest BBC News have doctored the footage a-la-Trump, then the man is as thick as mince. And so is anyone who stands by him.
