I haven't seen the age voting data in areas against last elections to suggest they were or were not. Let's face it 99% of what the papers and media produce is utter bias rubbish. You have to read accross multiple reports just to find the thread of truth. Maybe more young people voted, I know JC was terribly underestimated, which was silly as the mans spent a life time campaigning for something or other, and the manifesto the tories came up with didn't make pleasant reading, no magical money tree gifts to all and nothing but more cuts. No wonder people didn't vote the way it had been expected. I totally understand why the government sort the election at that time, anyone else would have given the expected result. Now of course it's all messed up. I do wish JC would give it up though, he's beginning to sound desperate like a child, I won the race, I want the trophy, even though he came a long way second and we all know it. Hopefully he'll make a total ass of himself, return to the back bench where he belongs and a labour leader will emerge that make labour electable again. But I don't think we'll see another election for 5 years, despite JC's foot stamping and blustering.
