What do people think of Anna Soubry?

Just wondering really because I've always liked her and think she comes across well when I've seen her on the Tv etc. She appears to speak her mind quite a bit.

What do others think? Does she have what it takes to be in one of the front roles one day?

Have spent quite a lot of time with her. Shes a rarity - a Tory that's not just in it for herself/her rich mates.

She's one of the few Tories that I quite like. She's my parents' MP and my dad has met her a few times. He reckons she gives you a straight answer to a question rather than a 'politician's' answer iyswim.

Really like her actually. She'd be a good leader (though not at the moment due to Brexit.)

I agree with Badders123. Every TV interview I have seen her do since the EU ref is used by her to keep pushing her beliefs on the Brexit deal.

I've seen her a few times on TV where she's looked really pissed.

Awful woman. I remember her time in Defence and she utterly shafted our Armed Forces (not to mention her political interferance in the Al Blackman case). She makes it up as she goes along, anything from, "not one postal worker has written to her objecting to privatisation of royal mail" "not one GP that she knows objects to the NHS reforms". A staunch remainer, she promoted the ignorant, racist rhetoric against leave voters, but did indeed manage to reverse her 'opinion' when it came to A50 as the representative of her (one assumes ignorant and racist) constituents.

Professional, self promoting politician, with no idea about what the fuck is going on, and worse, has no interest in those she represents.

I always think she comes across well when I have seen her on question time. She always answers questions honestly and seems to have balls.

The people have spoken and rejected the hard Brexit! Anna, that's absolute bollocks. Talk about putting your own spin on the results.
