If real, surely it would be possible to work out who it is and shut them down?

In past times, Yes. It would have been possible for the security services to have worked out who it was. The times are disordered, though. When I said it was real, I should perhaps have added a rider. 'Who knows who is writing it?' I can think of any number of individuals or groups who would benefit.

The more they tweet, the more I doubt that it's authentic. Also, why is Louise Mensch so obsessed with unmasking them and why do they keep drawing attention to her?

4th Amendment offers some protection for US citizens to follow whoever we like on Twitter & not have to disclose it either (leads to 5th amendment as well); a search warrant has to be produced for The Donald's team to force info release.

However, white house staff probably have signed contracts with more stringent rules. I wonder if they could be done for treason?

I imagine anti LBGT ExecO will be something to do with gay marriage. Not recognising Gmarriage, or banning LBGT people from something that constitution doesn't easily cover.

I read on another thread that he's removing the illegality of LGBT discrimination if tolerance goes against your religious beliefs.

Disinformation or not, they have over 360,000 followers.

If the LGBT discrimination one is true the protests so far will seem like Cub Scout picnics in comparison to what will come.
