This is really fantastic news and I hope it will become reality. Makes sense anyway and hopefully will out pressure on the Irish government to become more efficient:

Why would they go to Ireland? If you are moving you might as well move to the mainland.

Language, mostly. Also, unlike other EU countries little hassle with trade unions and good connections with US.
