Question about being a Registered Voter with the Labour Party

Sorry if this is a silly question but... I joined the Labour Party a few weeks ago. I'm not overly surprised that I haven't been a member long enough to be eligible to vote in the upcoming elections. But as I'm already a member can I also pay £25 to be a registered voter? Or is that only possible if you aren't already a member? I'm confused!

AFAIK you can pay the £25. It would be odd to allow non-members but not short term members. You must do so by tomorrow though.

I agree. Either they should let me vote or not without having to pay for it. Am fast coming round to the idea though that a vote against Jeremy is worth £25 of anyone's money.
