Top 3 reasons not to vote ukip?

Just this really, it seems lots of people are spouting how ukip is the way forward and I suspect they have little knowledge of the policies of any party so what 3 reasons can I give that will deter usually decent and reasonable people from such madness ?

2 there are none
3 there are none

They are professionally 1)sexist 2)racist and 3)homophobic.

Want trident no to hs2. Need something doing about immigration. Want to keep green belt.

While he is also a toss pot- I read this on Frankie Cocozza's twitter last night (he was on X factor a few years ago if you have forgotten):

Our local UKIP MP got the boot because he was involved in some racist propaganda online. Says a lot really.

As far as I can tell, ukip isn't always clear what its policies are either. And they seem to have a remarkable talent for fielding candidates who get themselves into some sort of pickle. The way forward to where exactly?

I am only going back a few hours, but sexist because this and racist because this.

Now I admittedly can't find anything homophobic in a five second search that has happened in the last few hours, I'll hold my hand up to that.

• they are economically v v right wing (cut taxes for the rich at the expense of benefits and services for those who need them). For me this is a big reason not to vote ukip.

• they intend to scrap paid maternity leave and allow discrimination on the basis of gender

• a significant proportion of their members are racist nut jobs

They want to ban sex education for primary school children - why, why, why?

This sums it up for me. The evidence on these three points is pretty overwhelming.
